Breast Cancer Awareness Campaigns: Empowering Women Through Education
Awareness aids in fighting stigma, deepens communication, and serves as a strong first step in helping to instill a sense of personal control over both their health and outcomes, or recovery. Breast cancer campaigns are often large scale from organizations such as National Breast Cancer Foundation, Susan G. Komen, and the WHO, however, local campaigns have their own power to create meaningful impact, and to hone in on local populations and needs, mobile screening units, and work in unison with local clinics to be able to build bridging partnerships to meet community needs.
